As an Internet Marketer or small business owner you may be worried about how going out and commenting, sharing, or helping other YouTuber’s businesses grow will affect yours. Don’t be!
The coolest way to get your own Channel growing is to help other’s Channels be successful. Get out there and network! Comment, share, like, subscribe, and be engaged with others and they will do the same for you. That’s the name of the game!
This video is geared more toward the Internet Marketing crowd (or really anyone who needs to have a video that converts)! There are a few sites out there with project videos people have put together geared specifically for you to donate money to help their cause/campaign. They are:
I suggest checking those out and making note of what you like or don’t like. Notice if they got their project funded and why you think they did. Break down elements of their videos…see why you think they were able to engage their audience and make a list of what you want to include in your videos!
And remember – when you are finished putting your script/video together, stand back and watch it from a new viewer’s perspective. If you wouldn’t want to watch the whole thing…neither will they!
In my last YouTube Marketing video I discussed consistency and how important it is that you are rolling your videos out on a consistent basis. YouTube will rank your videos higher if you are consistent…and your audience will know when they can expect new videos and will actually be watching for them.
NOW…here is a tool that will really help you with that: The YouTube Scheduler! If you do not have the scheduler as an option yet in your YouTube video manager, watch for it because it will be coming soon! What the scheduler allows you to do is to upload your videos at the same time and then schedule each one to go public at the date and time of your choosing! To state the obvious, this will really help your YouTube marketing efforts stay on a consistent schedule because (as we all know) life is busy and it can be hard to login to YouTube every day/week at the same time to launch a new video.
Side note: custom thumbnails are also coming to YouTube! Watch for those, too…if you take the time to create some custom thumbnails your videos will stand out and reflect your brand and style. Fun stuff!
People generally LOVE to be on a consistent schedule and so does YouTube! If you release your videos on a consistent schedule YouTube will take note of that and help them rank a little higher…AND your subscribers will love you because they will know when to expect new videos from you.
Yes, I’ve been preaching this for a long time…but BE CONSISTENT! 🙂
How can you put your YouTube marketing strategy on steroids? It’s easy – but you need to be proactive in doing it! How? Plan your content! Think through it: think about why you are using YouTube for video marketing and what you hope to accomplish with it. Think about your audience and what they would like to see and why. Then…get after it!
Today I’m pulling out the big guns – aka my whiteboard – to walk you through how I take advantage of YouTube marketing to build my membership programs. This is a step-by-step strategy that shows how I give super great value to my YouTube traffic and also give them the opportunity to become further involved in what my programs have to offer. It’s a win-win!
Hope you enjoy! Let me know if you have any questions on anything…I am happy to help and discuss with you!

Offline marketing, such as television, radio, newspaper, and such are traditional methods for selling products and services. But what is online advertising? What mediums are there out there available to you?
Here’s a very quick rundown on some different types of online advertising and what they are…
Listen to your social community! Seems simple enough…but you really have to be proactive in order to listen, reply, comment, and engage with others. In fact, you need to act just like you are having a face-to-face conversation with each person.
This can be difficult because emails, Facebook, Twitter and all other social media platforms are…well…NOT face-to-face. We can forget that there are “real” people on the other end of the computer or smart phone.
Here’s some top tips to help you build and engage your social communities.
